FOR SALE: Ward Bennett (1917–2003) “Sled Chair” created by Bennett during his tenure as the design director for Brickell by America from 1965-75.

The chair measures 30” tall x 29” wide x 29” deep with its original factory tag attached to rear back.

This iconic Sled Chair is made from wicker and chrome plated metal and draws the eye to its distinctive base made from tubular steel that’s welded into an X-shape and mounted on parallel rails.

During his career Bennett created over 100 chair models and is regarded as an American design pioneer for using industrial materials in modern home furnishings.
